New Kits From Ahhh Scrap & Chelle's Creations

K so I have a guest CT spot on Chelle's Creations this month! I am so excited about this because I have had an eye on her products for quite some time!!! So here's the first kit of hers that I have used. It's called Ticket to Ride and it is perfect for the gazillions of pics I have of my kiddos at Lagoon. I can't wait to get them all scrapped and share them with you all. Here's a start....

For this first LO I also used Chelle's new super chunk alpha. She makes a whole bunch of super cute alphas that you can fill in however you like, with color or paper or whatever you can think of! Don't miss out.

For this one I added some great stitching from Chelle's Stitch me up Combo. I also used another alpha called Basic Black.

My calendar that I made 18 months ago is officially out dated as of May so I'm busting my butt to get one put together for the next 18 months! I love having personalized calendars, they are so much more fun than the store bought variety and just one more way to put our fun pics on display! I used Stanger Girl's One Day at a Time. This kit is perfect for making a calendar. It has fun Wordart for all your calendaring needs, plus it has fun wordart and elements for every holiday. Stinkin cute kit! In attempt to control my scrapbooking addiction I have quit all but one of my creative teams. I stayed with Ahhh Scrap because it is a site CT so I get to work with more designer's this way. I was sad to say goodbye to all the teams I was on. It was a really hard thing to do, but I feel I have more quality time with my family now and I'm happy I cut back. I will be doing a guest spot in June for Chelle's Creations at Scrap Matters which is awesome, but other than that it's just Ahhh Scrap, so here's my latest creation from them and a little news about iNSD (international scrapbooking day)! This LO was done with the new May Collab kit from Ahhh Scrap! It's an awesome, huge, loaded with goodies kit from all the designers in the store! I love the birthday theme, because I will continue to have tons of pics to scrap with this amazing kit! Thanks to all the ladies who contributed! It's fabulous.

Charity Collab

This kit is not just any ordinary kit; it is for an amazing cause and an amazing little guy that needs a family, a home, and someone to love and care for him. The Hartman family, are in the process of adopting the sweet boy below. They feel called to rescue this little boy "Brady" from a mental institution in Eastern Europe . Because he has Downs Syndrome, Brady was abandoned at birth, just like the majority of children with any sort of disabilities in Eastern Europe and other parts of the world. lt is standard procedure when these children turn between 4-6 years old (depending on region) that they are transferred from Orphanages to full blown Mental Institutions. This transfer is very traumatic, and many times these children suffer and sometimes die due to the conditions. Brady has already been transferred and The Hartmans are trying to get to him as quickly as possible. So I told this sweet family that I would ask the girls at "Stuff to Scrap" to Help!! The cost of this adoption is well between $20,000- $30,000 and so we just want to be able to contribute a little toward that huge amount. The amazing designers at "Stuff to Scrap" have put together an awesome collaboration that can be used to donate to this great cause. All proceeds from the sell of *Brady* goes directly to the Hartman's adoption fund.

I have finally regained my CT status with Jaya and Tiff (Jaya Prem Designs and Inspiredbydominic) I love this CT because it is so easy going. I LOVE Halloween. It is my favorite holiday. I love to dress up and i love candy! I also love all the spooky fun decor. You will see lots of halloween kits this month, but I think this one is different. Its a more grown up/vintage kit. Not so cutesy. Don't get me wrong I love cutesy but, I love a variety too.
